An astrologer's little corner of the noosphere
The information in this column is limited. It does not replace your seeing your astrologer. If you know the sign of your Moon and your Ascending sign, read those sections also. This information is helpful because it mentions planets passing through your sign. These do bring opportunities.
Special note: The emphasis this month is on the signs Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Virgo. The Sun in weeks 1, 2, and 3, and Venus in weeks 1 and most of 2 are in the sign Cancer. This makes us effective and happy in our homes. The Sun in week 4 and Venus in weeks 2, 3, and 4 are in the Sign, Leo. This makes us playful and powerful, like cats, who are playful and who certainly have a lot of rules. Mercury is now direct and running smoothly and will spend time in three signs. In week 1, Mercury will be clever in Gemini. In weeks 2 and 3, Mercury will be domestic in Cancer. And in week 4, Mercury will join The Sun and Venus in Leo and this makes us even more aware of power and play. Mars is in the work and service sign, Virgo and that is what we will be urged to do. The presence of Mars near Saturn earlier in the month makes that work difficult. The motion of Mars toward a trine with Jupiter and an opposition with Uranus can bring some unexpected trouble with a built in solution. Except for week 4, one planet or another will be opposing Jupiter in Capricorn. We’ll be doing a lot of judging but a trine of those Cancer planets to Uranus will give us inspiration. Later in the month, Venus will oppose Neptune and this increases romance and love schemes. What would Lucy and Ethel do? Pluto is back in very late Sagittarius until mid November. This reemphasizes our awareness of extreme ideologies. New Moon in Cancer on the 2nd and 3rd is a fine time to make a fresh start in our emotional and domestic lives. Full Moon in Capricorn on the 16th, 17th and morning of the 18th brings goals to fruition.

Aries:
March 21 to April 20.
Squares from planets in Cancer, except for week 4, and a square from
Jupiter mean that balance needs to be achieved between family matters,
career matters, and your spontaneous activities. Honor all three and
you’ll be fine. Trines from planets in Leo, except in weeks 1 and 2,
are giving you extra pizzazz and creativity. Moon in your sign on the
23rd and 24th brings people and events.
Taurus:
April 21 to May 21.
Neptune is still squaring you and after week 2, planets in Leo are squaring
you. Be sensible as always, but try to appreciate more imaginative and
playful ways of being. Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter form a lucky grand
trine with your Sun. These trines support you in the practical areas
of work, money, and achieving honors. Last Quarter Moon in your sign
on the 25th, 26th, and morning of the 27th brings people and events.
Gemini:
May 22 to June 21.
A direct Mercury in your sign in week 1 makes you alert and clever.
And a trine from Neptune adds imagination and special insight to this.
Squares from Mars, Saturn, and Uranus, show that work and hard to define
concerns are affecting your power. Build up your power, vitality, and
effectiveness though exercise, diet, meditation, and looking for that
which lifts you spiritually. Moon in your sign on the 1st, afternoon
of the 27th, 28th, and morning of the 29th, brings people and events.
Cancer:
June 22 to July 23.
(Bush’s Sun and the Sun of the U.S.) Your sign is loaded with the faster
moving bodies. The Sun is there in weeks 1, 2, and 3. This brings a
vitality lift and powerful people. This is also the continuation of
your sun cycle, which brings opportunities to increase success and happiness.
Meditate on this while these energies are in effect. Venus is in your
sign in weeks 1 and 2 and brings pleasant people and things to you.
Mercury is in your sign in weeks 2 and 3 and brings interesting things
and people. All of these connections can bring opportunities. To increase
effectiveness, take rules seriously even if you are trying to change
them. New Moon in your sign on the 2nd and 3rd gives you an extra birthday.
Moon in your sign later on the 29th, 30th, and early on the 31st brings
people and things.
Leo:
July 24 to Aug 23.
(Obama’s Sun) Venus is in your sign in weeks 3 and 4 and the Sun and
Mercury are there in week 4. These bodies bring people and things and
opportunity. Venus brings the pleasant, Mercury the interesting, and
the Sun, vitality and the powerful. The Sun’s entrance into your sign
starts your Sun cycle. Use the month long reception of these energies
to build happiness and success. Moon in your sign on the 4th, 5th, and
later on the 31st brings people and events and the 31st is like an extra
birthday due to a New Moon Solar Eclipse. In late July and early August,
be sensible and look for a creative pursuit.
Virgo:
Aug 24 to Sep 23.
(McCain’s Sun) Mars and Saturn are in your sign and Uranus is opposing
you. Mars brings the drive to act. Saturn brings responsibilities, work,
and goals. Uranus tends to bring the fascinating, discovery, and unexpected.
To make the most of these energies, pursue activities, goals, and interests.
Also manage stress and conflict, be sensible, and avoid overwork. Jupiter
trining you brings great help and opportunity. Moon in your sign on
the 6th, 7th, and morning of the 8th brings people and events and stimulates
what is mentioned above.
Libra:
Sep 24 to Oct 23.
(McCain’s rising Sign) Jupiter is squaring you and up until week 4,
planets passing through Cancer are also squaring you. You can’t control
them, but you can stay on good terms with bosses and family members.
Imaginative Neptune, and in week 1 intelligent Mercury are forming a
grand trine with your Sun. This is a great time for pursuing ideas and
socializing. First Quarter Moon in your sign later on the 8th, 9th,
and 10th stimulates all of the above.
Scorpio:
Oct 24 to Nov 22.
(Hillary’s Sun and Romney’s Moon) Uranus is trining you and up until
week 4, planets passing through Cancer are trining you. This forms a
lucky grand trine to your Sun. It brings emotional integration, many
contacts, and success. Sextiles from Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars add to
this. Toward the end of the month planets passing through the power
sign, Leo square you and Neptune continues to square you. To minimize
conflict, try to get along with those who are imaginative, intelligent,
powerful, and creative. Moon in your sign on the 11th and 12th and morning
of the 13th brings people and events.
Sagittarius:
Nov 23 to Dec 21.
Pluto is back into your sign until mid November. For those late in the
sign Pluto brings forces to be reckoned with, expressed as people, things,
and situations. It’s best to face these things and take action. Uranus,
Mars and Saturn continue to square you. This can bring work, drive and
ingenuity, but don’t overwork, manage stress and conflict, and expect
the unexpected along with inspiration. Planets passing through Leo start
to trine you in week 2 and by week 4, three bodies are favoring you.
This promotes creativity and good connections with people and things.
Moon in your sign later on the 13th, 14th, and 15th brings adventure,
people and events.
Capricorn:
Dec 22 to Jan 20.
(McCain’s Moon) Jupiter continues passing through your sign and brings
optimism and opportunities. Be looking for them and be ready. Saturn
and Mars trining you gives organization and drive. Pay special attention
to home and family this month. Full Moon in your sign on the 16th, 17th,
and morning of the 18th brings people, events, and gives fullness to
your goals.
Aquarius:
Jan 21 to Feb 19.
Neptune continues in your sign for a long stay and brings you ideals
and the spiritual. It is a marvel to feel connected to delicate and
good things. This month Venus in weeks 3 and 4 and the Sun and Mercury
in week 4, oppose you. This could give you a creative boost. Try to
keep the peace with the powerful. Moon in your sign later on the 18th,
19th, and 20th brings people and events.
Pisces:
Feb 20 to March 20.
(Romney’s Sun and Hillary’s Moon). Uranus is in your sign and Saturn
and Mars are opposing you. Uranus is bringing fascinating things and
people to you and discoveries. Saturn and Mars opposing you bring work,
duty, drive and stress. It is best when dealing with these planets to
be sensible, be active, avoid overwork, and have some rejuvenating fun.
