Dear Friends,

For locals, S.T.A.R. Guild will meet at the main library in Cocoa on July 9th at 7 pm. We will be discussing the planet, Uranus in the birth chart. If you've checked Rodden's site lately, you'll see that we have a birth certificate time on Obama. His birth data is: Aug 4 '61 at 7:24pm AHST Honolulu, Hawaii. His chart makes strong connections to the U.S. chart. Now we have a time on McCain and Obama and we have something to compare.

I had a discovery worth mentioning this month. I saw Bette Midler on Leno and was amazed by her enthusiasm and entertaining qualities as always. I found her chart in a data book. As anticipated she has many planets in enthusiastic fire signs. She has perennially youthful Aries rising. Aries's ruler Mars is next to Pluto in the entertainment sign Leo and in the 5th house of entertainment. She also has Mercury and the Sun in the somewhat bawdy sign, Sagittarius. If you move all of these planets back to the sidereal positions, they move out of fire signs and nothing moves into fire signs. Thus, sidereal constellations do not describe the personality the way tropical signs do.

We've been watching Mars lately. During June Mars in Leo was opposing Neptune. Mars is trouble and Neptune is associated with oil and rivers, through its association with Pisces. Let's hear it for floods and the price of oil. This opposition opposed and conjuncted the Moon in the U.S. chart. This sounds like oil shock.

This month and half of August Mars is in Virgo with Saturn. This is not good for hurricanes but it is fortunate that it is coming early in the season. The conjunction is perfect on the 10th of July. Hello Bertha!

We just passed our New Moon in Cancer. I hope we all make little improvements in our homes. The Full Moon this month is on the 16th, 17th, and morning of the 18th. Let's perfect our goals.

I'll be talking on the horoscopes of artists on Aug 6th at 8pm in Orlando; Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Raphael, Manet, Van Gogh, Seurat, Matisse, and Picasso.

I'll teach an Astrology class at Aquarian Dreams on Saturday, Aug 16th at 2:30. Focus will be on the charts of the participants.
