For those of you who are local, S.T.A.R Guild, Astrology study group, meets on the 2nd Thursday of Feb on the 11th. Please bring your charts because we'll be noting the positions and meanings of various planets in the sky plotted around our charts. We'll take another look at Haiti. They are a Capricorn country and the quake happened 3 days before the new moon solar eclipse happened in Capricorn. In addition to that they have Mars square Saturn in their birth chart and currently Pluto squares Saturn at the same location, Capricorn and Libra. That is the type of correspondence that I write in my special notebook. I'm noting in the same notebook that Jupiter in the belief and supernatural sign, Pisces is already having an expansive effect on belief and drawing us toward the supernatural. My local Barnes and Noble is temporarily out of Dr. Jeff Long's book, “Evidence for the Afterlife”. Dr. Long says that he can scientifically prove the existence of life after death based on testimony of those who have had near death experiences. This is reminiscent of Raymond Mood's “Life after Life”, written in the 70's. Also going in the notebook is the suspected expansive effect that Dan Brown's book, “Lost Symbol” will have on the world. It's got Astrology, founding father masons, and ancient mysteries. It's popularity should interest the public in these things. The Church of Light, which used to be the Hermetic Brotherhood of Luxor, claims Egyptian roots. They offer instruction and initiation. Too Cool!

Let's continue to try and manage stress and manage conflict due to Mars being in Leo from mid Oct '09 to week 2 of June '10. If we manage this energy well, we free it up for creating.

New Moon in Aquarius on the 12th and 13th can bring us a little piece of the Age of Aquarius. We need to put ourselves in the right spot with the right people. Full Moon in Virgo on the 28th is a great time to put our vision into mission.

A recent “Mountain Astrologer” had an interview with astrologer, Betty Howell. She taught Astrology at various Jungian institutes. She taught Astrology to Academicians!

Finally, I was thinking about the notion that God is unable to be contained, such that, marvelous divine qualities leak from him and permeate the universe. I thought it might be nice to have a special receptacle set out and in view as a reminder of this and to receive the energy. This is probably one of the meanings of the suit of cups. This is also reminiscent of the vessels in Kabbala.

On Feb. 20, I'll do mini readings at Aquarian Dreams in Indialantic from 11 to 1pm. Double check your birth time. In March we'll look at the 6 point star, the Seal of Solomon.
