For those of you who are local, S.T.A.R. Guild Astrology study group meets on Tues, Jan 3rd at 6pm at the main library in Cocoa. We'll be looking at the Astrology of the main events of 2011 and anticipate main events of 2012. For example, Arab spring and other protests this past year are associated with Uranus, the planet of revolution, in daring Aries square extreme Pluto in Capricorn, the sign of government and business. Early in the year Jupiter was also in Aries adding to the daring, optimistic energy. This square will last until about 2015. Bring your own chart and be ready to figure things out.

Mercury leaves Sagittarius after week one of Jan. and ends an interest or concern that we have had since early November. Neptune is so late in Aquarius that it is affecting early Pisces. For Pisces, this marks the beginning of a 13 year period of inspiration or addiction struggles. Saturn is so late in Libra that early Scorpio is gearing up for more work and burdens. Uranus is early in Aries and also bringing abrupt change to late Pisces. Jupiter is so early in Taurus that it is also bringing benefits to late Aries.

Full Moon in Cancer later on the 7th, 8th, and 9th brings an opportunity to appreciate and balance both private life and public life. New Moon in Aquarius on the 23rd and 24th is an opportunity to make a fresh start with exploring ideas and interacting with people. And a strong relationship exists between Neptune, Saturn, and Jupiter. This can bring together differing perspectives.

Mars continues in Virgo; so Virgo, Pisces and to a lesser degree, Gemini and Sagittarius need to be active and productive but also manage stress and workload.
